County Central Committee Meeting

We want to express our heartfelt thanks and welcome as new or returning team members!

For those of you who may be new to county politics or elections in Utah, the County Central Committee consists of the precinct chairs and vice-chairs, the County GOP Executive Committee, and the prior County Party Chair.

In Utah, there is a State Republican Party and a separate County Republican Party. The State GOP focuses on promoting candidates who are registered as Republicans and running for state elected office. The County GOP does the same for candidates registered as Republicans and running for county elected office.

The State Lt. Governor’s Office oversees elections in the state, and the County Clerk’s Office has some shared and some specific responsibilities in overseeing elections within their individual county.

A Republican Party caucus is a gathering of individuals who are selected to represent their respective neighborhoods at County Conventions. The tangible results of caucus meetings are the elections of precinct chairs, vice-chairs and delegates. Our caucus meetings were held on March 5, 2024; thank you for participating!

Our Central Committee Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Middle School. The purpose for this meeting is to prepare for the County Convention and we need each of you there.
